This video shows you the art supplies that I use to draw fashion sketches:
SKETCHING:
HB and 2B grey pencils
(I forgot to mention the erasers: a regular one, one that has a thin tip and a kneaded eraser which doesn’t leave residues on the sheet of paper)
Graphite for quick sketching
Charcoal pencil for the shadowing and to get really black backgrounds
Ink pens (PIGMA 005, 05 and 1 // FABER-CASTELL Small, Medium & Bold)
Fixative (either from the art supplies store or a simple hairspray)
COLORING:
Markers: Chartpak AD / Copic / Prismacolor (several colors + darker shades of those colors, warm and cold greys, several black tones, several skin tones and a blender)
Color pencils: a regular box of colors will do the job (but you need white, black, grey and a skin tone)
PAPER:
Sketchbook in a format that fits your pre-made croquis, slightly see-through
Marker paper (bleedproof) in a larger format.
