Christmas Nail Design – Full Look Part 1 – Glittering Acrylic Ombre With Textured Snow Effect –

Hi Guys,

It’s that time of year again, Christmas is around the corner and I get to do MY CHRISTMAS NAILS!! In this first video, I show you how I created the nail itself.

I used some of our amazingly lovely acrylics to create a not so traditional coloured ombré. Now I know what you’re thinking, green and blue for Christmas?!? Well you all know I’m not exactly traditional and you just wait and see, it turns out very Christmassy in the end!

As always I also love to add a bit of bling, so on this nail I add some GORGEOUS glitter by encapsulating it in the nail with clear.

So, to make this pinky super Christmassy, I add a little bit of snow, but instead of doing it with just gel polish I gave it extra texture to make it more realistic by dusting the gel with some Mega White acrylic powder. Now, this means that you do have to cure it a bit longer but it gives a really great effect and it’s well worth that little bit of extra time!!

So like I said, this is the first design in a set so you’ve got more videos to come so keep a look out for the rest to see the completed set!
